The starting point of my colorful, large-format works is the nude drawing. Not the realistic drawing, but the work with lines and overlaps. I am not interested in the accuracy of proportions, but in the exaggerations and distortions of the human body. I try to highlight the character traits of each person. After a lot of sketches of nudes, I try to implement these studies in a colorful, large picture on canvas. In doing so, I combine the colored backgrounds with the lines of the nude drawings. Figures and background merge, but the viewer has the opportunity to discover the figures and view them individually.
